Soulla Dionysiou is the founder and managing director of S. Dionysiou & Partners LLC.
With extensive experience in corporate law and commercial transactions, merger and acquisition, real estate, banking and finance, and private client matters, Soulla has established herself as a trusted legal advisor in the industry.
She has successfully led numerous multi-billion transactions, demonstrating her proficiency in navigating intricate legal landscapes. Soulla’s notable achievements include the acquisition of one of the largest Business Centres in the CIS through a joint venture structure, the re-assignment and release of securities for an international airline company and the representation of a leading oilfield services giant in Cyprus oil drilling ventures.
Her expertise extends to private client matters, where she advises entrepreneurs, international families, trust companies, and family offices on real estate, estate planning, structures, and ad-hoc personal affairs. Demetris Andreopoulos is an Associate Lawyer at S. Dionysiou & Partners LLC, where he advises international and local clients across corporate, regulatory and private client matters.
Demetris has longstanding experience in financial services regulations and compliance. He advises regulated entities on their ongoing regulatory obligations, including investor protection, anti-money laundering and data protection, and assists clients with licensing and authorisation matters. He also has broad in-house experience advising groups operating across financial services, corporate and technology sectors, which gives him a practical, business-minded understanding of the issues his clients face.
Before joining DP Law, Demetris practised as Legal Counsel at Langham Hall in Luxembourg, acting for the Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) of several investment funds. He advised on the legal and governance matters of those funds, including fund structuring, the operations of AIFs, investments and regulatory compliance.
At DP Law, his practice covers corporate governance and shareholder and board disputes, cross-border commercial contract drafting and negotiation, advisory, private client and immigration matters. He is also a registered mediator and assists parties in resolving commercial and civil disputes.
Demetris completed his traineeship at L. Papaphilippou LLC in Nicosia and has also completed a traineeship at the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg. He holds an LLB Law from the University of Leeds and is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
